Indie rock artist Havens is back with a brand new single entitled “Taking Me Away”. This is the final single of his trilogy of songs that examine the theme of love from various perspectives.
The single, which was written by Havens, follows the story of letting go of the past and embracing the feeling and excitement of newfound love. This is Havens third collaboration with producer and bassist Ian Madden and Juno award-winning drummer, Tim Oxford.
“”Taking Me Away” is a fun and upbeat alternative rock song that really just showcases how much fun we had while recording it in the studio,” comments Havens. “The song tells the story of someone who is now ready to let go of the past and embrace newfound love and the feelings of excitement it brings.”
The track follows the success of his previous hit collaborations with Ian Madden and Tim Oxford, “Peace In Darkness” and “Fall“.
