The Canadian Country Community comes together with “Country Kicks Cancer’s Ass” Benefit Concert

After receiving the devastating diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia in early 2018, Runaway Angel singer Cadence Grace spent majority of the year going through Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI) treatments, which were ultimately ineffective. Now preparing for a bone marrow transplant, along with the heavy risk and costs associated, the country music community is embracing its “like family” reputation and is coming together to support their friend Cadence.

On March 3rd, an Opry-style benefit concert, named “Country Kicks Cancer’s Ass” will take place at the Rock ‘N’ Horse Saloon in Toronto, with a handful of country’s best artists taking the stage, to not only support Cadence and her family throughout this journey, but also to raise awareness around blood & stem cell donations, to help others receive the second chance that is on Cadence’s horizon. The show will feature performances by Jessica Mitchell, Eric Ethridge, Leah Daniels, Genevieve Fisher, Kris Barglay and many more!

You can purchase tickets on Evenbrite, and learn more about Cadence’s story and make a donation on her GoFundMe page.
