Montreal’s electronic music festival ÎleSoniq will be back for its sixth edition on August 9th and 10th. This week, the event revealed that one of its first acts will be Alan Walker. The British DJ previously performed at the festival in 2017, giving an incredible performance at the Oasis stage.
After two years on the temporary site of Île Saint-Hélène, ÎleSoniq (as well as the other Montreal major festivals Osheaga, Heavy Montreal, and ’77) will return in 2019 to its initial grounds of Parc Jean Drapeau, now that renovations are over.
The rest of the 2019 ÎleSoniq line-up will be released in the next few weeks. In the meantime, passes are available for purchase since yesterday, with early bird passes starting at $170 for 2-day general admission. 2-day Gold Passes are also available for $285. Hi there! My name is Marie, I am French born and raised, and moved to Montreal about 5 years ago. I am an account manager at a digital marketing agency by day, and an avid concert-goer by night. I have always had a passion for photography, and realized that this mixes quite well with my love for live music (the absolute best way to experience music, if you ask me).
