Winnipeg singer-songwriter Madeleine Roger has just announced a handful of new tour dates for February and March, and has also premiered her new lyric video for “This Way For Me.” The contemporary folksingers debut solo album Cottonwood was released in October 2018 and has already received plenty of critical praise.
The footage for “This Way For Me” was filmed while taking part in VIA Rail’s Artists on Board program in 2018. The song itself was written while on the same train a couple years prior.

I’m Shayla, and I was born in Saskatoon but moved to Halifax in 2013 for University, and since decided to stay here for a while. I recently received a Bachelor of Design, after studying photography for a year or two as well. I love everything about music and how it has the ability to bring so many people together from across the country and even the world. My passion for music is one of the reasons I moved East to pursue a photography and design career, as I would love to do graphic design and photography within the Canadian music industry.
