Five Questions With Brock Andrews

We caught up with Saskatoon-based country artist, Brock Andrews who has just released his new single, “I Do” for our newest segment of Five Questions With!

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?

Of course, my name is Brock Andrews and I am a country artist who proudly represents my home town of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on stages across the country.

Tell us a bit about your music and writing style.

The songs I write and perform are a mix of thoughtful storytelling ballads that have meaning in my life and of those around me, and upbeat energetic songs that allow our audiences to have a fantastic live music experience.

Do you have any upcoming shows? For someone who has yet to see you live, how would you explain your live performance?

Yes, we just signed on with some great summer festivals and have shows starting in March which are listed on our website.

A well-balanced musical attack. At some point during our show you will have the following thoughts…

·         I love this mash up.

·         Why do my feet keep wanting to dance?

·         I haven’t heard this song in years.

·         I love this song.

·         I need a beer.

If you were asked to suggest only one of your songs for someone to hear, which would it be?

My new single that was just launched to Canadian Country Radio entitled, ” I DO”.

Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so who are your current favourite Canadian bands/artists?

I am a huge fan of most Canadian artists but the ones in my playlist right now are East Adelaide, Codie Prevost, Brody Siebert, Tenille Townes, Aaron Goodvin, Ben Klick, Hunter Brothers, Ches Anthony and Tenille Arts.
