Ghost Caravan shares on the single,
” Now That I’m Free is about the relief of letting a toxic relationship go. It’s your deepest, most honest voice finally speaking the truth, telling that person it’s over and celebrating your release. I like to call it “my Bond song” because the epic nature of the track makes me imagine people doing superhuman acts like jumping out of planes, lifting cars and standing up for their rights. With the music video we wanted to mirror the lush, rich tones of the song and depict a woman, processing her emotional experience in both a public (performance) and private sphere (walking the streets of Toronto alone). “
