Wasting no time in 2019, The Darcys have kicked off the year by releasing a cover of “Ocean Eyes” by rising superstar Billie Eilish.
“The line ‘I’ve never fallen from quite this high’ really stuck with me,” says Wes Marskell of The Darcys. “2018 started as a year of unknowns for us: we had left our label, changed up our team and were only toying with the idea of releasing our own music. […] So as the year came to a close, we thought Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes” would be a perfect cover to start the new year. It’s a beautiful song and afforded us the space to try something a little different.”
