Who: Pale Waves
When: November 15, 2018
Where: The Opera House, Toronto ON
Pale Waves brought their indie-pop sound to the Opera House on a snowy and wet Thursday night to a decent sized mixed crowd! The British band performed a lot of their new songs such as Television Romance and Eighteen. I was blown away by their stage presence and performance, they sound exactly like they do on their recorded tracks. I definitely see this band blowing up the music scene soon. They give off a gothic look with sounds like The Cure, which instantly catches your eye.
I would definitely recommend this band!
Indie band The Candescents opened up for Pale Waves setting the mood for what was to follow! They did a great job revving up the fans for the rest of the night.

Hello! Is it me you’re looking for?…well, great! I’m Gabby! A Toronto based photographer and a lover of all things music! I listen to a vast amount of different genres of music ranging from metal to R&B. When I’m not hustling around in different crowds I work full time for a wedding photography studio in the west end, and in my down time I like to nerd out with video games, a good documentary on Netflix, or stepping into my favourite record shop. My passion for music and photography are unlike any other! I’m always look forward to the next opportunity to shoot a lifelong favourite band or checking out a new artist, whichever it may be, I’ll see you in the pit!
