Toronto native, Sam Lewis a.k.a Pleasure Craft has released a brand new single, “Back In The Game”, along with a video. His debut, EP, entitled EP1 is set for release on October 25th. The EP combines alternative rock and 80s throwback and comes together as a unique, modern pop offering.

Lyrics draw influence from artist like Nick Cave, David Byrne, and Ian Curtis which can be heard in the plaintive hollered chorus on “Back In The Game”. The lyrics were inspired by the idea of exploring/forging a new identity in a new city.

“I tried to compare everyday clothing to sports team uniforms. I tried to reflect on the identity I construct for myself and how people will spend most of their money just trying to belong.”

Stay tuned for more from Pleasure Craft and check out “Back in the Game” everywhere.
