Halifax-based folk band Quiet Parade just unveiled their new single, “Thunder”. The single is available for download/stream on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music. The band also released a lyric video, which you can check out above.
“Thunder” is the first new music from the band in about three years, following their francophone debut album, “Nous Étions Icitte”. Revealing in winding guitar lines, fading choruses, and words that aim straight for the heart, this new song is a story of longing for answers to questions never asked, a costal-soaked sense of searching mired in mist.
On the heels of this new song, Quiet Parade announced several shows throughout the Maritimes, including performances at the Halifax Pop Explosion, and Nova Scotia Music Week. Here is the full list of dates:
October 17 – Halifax, NS @ The Seahorse Tavern (Acadian Embassy Showcase at HPX 2018)
October 20 – Halifax, NS @ The Stubborn Goat (HPX 2018)
November 03 – Truro, NS @ Marigold Cultural Centre (NSMW 2018)
November 23 – Charlottetown, PE @ Baba’s Lounge

Hi there! My name is Marie, I am French born and raised, now living in Montreal. I work in Marketing by day, and I’m an avid concert-goer by night. I have always had a passion for photography, and realized that this mixes quite well with my love for live music (the absolute best way to experience music, if you ask me).
