Kitchener-based punk band Courage My Love just released their new single and video, “Remission”. You can stream or download the song here, or watch the video above.
Lead singer Mercedes Arn-Horn, who co-directed the video, says:
“We wrote ‘Remission’ about being haunted by painful memories, specifically memories of an ex-lover. In the music video, we tell the story of a ghost that is haunting me and following my every move. In the beginning, I’m terrified of facing the ghost, but as time goes on I learn to live with it and realize that the ghost is just as much a part of me as these painful memories. We shouldn’t have to live in fear of heartbreak, but rather let it be a part of our story and let it lead us to the next chapter.”
