When: October 9th, 2018
Where: Bell Center, Montreal QC
For the 2nd stop of their “The Now Now Tour”, Gorillaz stopped by the Bell Center in Montreal for an evening of pure performance and crazy energy! While audience members weren’t sure what to expect since the British act is a virtual band (with four animated members), frontman Damon Albarn took the front and center spot of the stage, with his band and backup singers behind him, and a nod to the virtual band members on-screen. Albarn is without a doubt an incredible performer: he runs and dances around the stage, and goes from one side of the front row to another. He knows how to interact with his fans, and make them feel like they have his full attention.
Throughout the show, Gorillaz ran through their many hits, with a special appearance from American hip-hop trio De La Soul to perform “Superfast Jellyfish” and the iconic “Feel Good Inc.”. One thing is for sure: this Tuesday night show was the best opportunity for Montrealers to shake off the last remnants of their Thanksgiving food comas, by having a great time at one of the best shows of the year, and allegedly Gorillaz’s last tour for the next 10 years…

Hi there! My name is Marie, I am French born and raised, now living in Montreal. I work in Marketing by day, and I’m an avid concert-goer by night. I have always had a passion for photography, and realized that this mixes quite well with my love for live music (the absolute best way to experience music, if you ask me).
