We had not heard from Halifax-born, Toronto-based R&B star JRDN for quite some time! We last saw him in 2014, with a Juno Award in hand for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, and his last album JRDNEP. Ralph Jordon Croucher was at the top, but chased a doomed relationship and put his career on hiatus for a few years. JRDN is now back with a story of redemption and finding light in the dark with the birth of his daughter.
The R&B prodigy is now back with a new single called “Better”, first of many projects to come.
“Most of the music I’ve put out in the past is pretty clean, but now I’m able to be more confident with my art,” he says. “Having that time away where I wasn’t able to put out music has helped me step back and figure out how I can come back and fit in with my own twist on what’s going on. Everything I’m ready to put out isn’t trying to fit any format. Now that I have this leeway to do what I want creatively I’ve just been making music that I love.”

Hi there! My name is Marie, I am French born and raised, now living in Montreal. I work in Marketing by day, and I’m an avid concert-goer by night. I have always had a passion for photography, and realized that this mixes quite well with my love for live music (the absolute best way to experience music, if you ask me).
