Alternative rock band Write Home released their brand new single and video for their song “Gloss & Bloom”, the brand new single off their upcoming EP Overgrown which will be released on October 26th.
“We’re ecstatic to present Gloss & Bloom to you all. We poured our heart and soul into this song, and it truly holds a special place in all of us. It’s been half a year since we put out our debut single, and this one goes out to everyone that has been here supporting us since. We appreciate you all more than you know.” – Billy Melsness
Write Home began as a metal band but did some much-needed soul-searching a few years back. They emerged with new inspiration and of course the new sound which led to the writing and recording for this new EP.
“I can’t possibly put into words how proud the three of us are to finally be releasing this piece of work we’ve been slaving away at for the past year and a half. The Overgrown EP is a summarization of all of the passion, sorrow, love, loss, aspirations, and anxieties that we felt/experienced over the course of last few years, and we hope you can find the same solace in the music that we did while creating it.” – Billy Melsness
The new EP will be released as previously mentioned on October 26th. The title track for the EP “Overgrown,” which has quickly garnered praise from fans and critics alike.
Hey there! I’m Zach I love long walks on the beach and movies that make you cry. Wait a minute this isn’t my E-Harmony account. Let’s try this again, hi I’m Zach from Dawson Creek, BC. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born. Moved up north when I was about six and was practically raised up here. Hands down one of my favorite Canadian band has to be Simple Plan, with Dallas Smith coming in second. One of my Favorite Things I enjoy doing is just sitting around listening to music or taking pictures. I’d say I’m a pretty good photographer but you can be the judge of that. Just even ask a couple of my friends City light vigil, Scarlet serenity or Violet night. If you’re still reading this congratulations you’ve reached the end.
