2018 CCMA Award winners announced at Industry Lunch & Awards

This entire weekend is devoted to celebrating Canada’s best in country music with several awards events taking place throughout Country Music Week 2018 in Hamilton, ON.  On Friday, key industry players were recognized at the CCMA Industry Lunch & Awards presented by Nielsen Music.  Eighteen awards were handed out at this event, hosted by Steve Kassay, including Travis Switzer winning Bass Player of the Year for the 5th time entering the Musician Hall of Honour for winning the Bass Player of the Year for the 5th time.

Today the CCMA will hand out an additional 14 awards at the 2018 Gala Dinner & Awards, including Songwriter(s) of the Year (presented by ole) and Stingray Video of the Year.
