London, Ontario has become known as a hub of great talent over the past several years in all genres of music. An artist that has been on my radar for about the past decade is Sarah Smith. Originally, the front person for The Joys, Smith ventured out as a solo artist in 2012 and has kept her musical momentum building.
Smith averages 300 shows a year in Canada, the US and Europe with a dedicated fan following. Her stage show is a mix of Rock/Pop original tunes and classic covers, all sung with her powerful raspy voice.
“Trust The Ride” is Smith’s current single out to radio and is steadily being picked up across the country. The video was created in collaboration with Possible (a campaign to raise awareness and shift perceptions about addiction) and Platero Visual. Please support this song by streaming and purchasing it on all platforms and requesting it at your local radio station.

Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
