Toronto’s country duo, The Ashley Sisters is made up of Lauren and Marlo Ashley. The two have recently released a new single, “Sweet On You” which you can check out below, and find out more about these fun-loving sisters in our newest segment of Five Questions With!

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?

We are Lauren Ashley and Marlo Ashley, a country pop and southern rock sister duo, known as The Ashley Sisters.

Tell us a bit about your music and writing style.

We write all our own music and lyrics. Our influences include country-pop artists Tim McGraw and Miranda Lambert, outlaw country artist Johnny Cash, and rock bands Lynyrd Skynyrd and Aerosmith.

Do you have any upcoming shows? For someone who has yet to see you live, how would you explain your live performance?

Our live shows are very rock ’n’ roll. We put on a performance and we give a good show. There is a lot of glitz and glam.

If you were asked to suggest only one of your songs for someone to hear, which would it be?

Right now, our debut single “Reckless.” Go check it out!
