Today, August 3rd, Calgary based Country artist Brad Saunders released his brand new single, “Play It By Beer” to all platforms for listening and purchase. This song embraces summer with a feel good vibe that could well be 2018’s summertime anthem. If you haven’t heard it, go give it a listen and request it at your local radio station. It is sure to get you swaying along to the music and reaching for a cold one.
Recorded at Calgary’s OCL Studios, this single was produced by Spencer Cheyne (Brett Kissel, Chad Brownlee, Leaving Thomas, Mackenzie Porter) & Justin Kudding (The Washboard Union, Jim Cuddy, Brett Kissel) and mixed by Jordan Oorebeek. Saunders penned this new track with CCMA Award winner Dan Swinimer and Jeff Johnson.
Saunders, who was the 2017 winner of Project WILD‘s artist development program, has been busy this summer with a radio tour, in partnership with Big Rock Brewery. He is also performing at many of the larger music festivals including the Calgary Stampede, Sunfest Country Music Festival, Big Valley Jamboree and Country Thunder.
We spoke earlier this week about all this and more!
Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
