Who: Buckcherry, P.O.D., Lit & Alien Ant Farm
Where: Mavricks Music Hall, Barrie ON
When: Tuesday, July 31, 2018
The forecast was in the 90’s as the GEN-X Summer Tour made a stop at Mavricks Music Hall in Barrie on Tuesday night for the only Canadian date on the tour. Generation X is known for culturing incredible music with the help of platforms like Much Music and MTV. Fans helped to define this new generation of music, which gave rise to many new rock bands, including the four amazing acts on the tour lineup, who are all originally from California: Buckcherry, P.O.D., Lit and Alien Ant Farm. This summer concert was presented by Rock 95 and Impact Live Events.

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
