Born in Manitoba, raised in British Columbia and Manitoba, currently living in Nova Scotia, Elsie Morden is a country music singer-songwriter and motivational speaker. And, on her birthday (July 30), she released her single “Spontaneous” to Canadian country music radio. It’s the first track of ten on Morden’s self-titled debut album.

Written by Morden, “Spontaneous” is a fun, upbeat song that tells a sweet story of love. It’s co-produced by Elsie Morden, Dave Wasyliw (Doc Walker), Murray Pulver (Doc Walker), Ariel Posen (Chad Brownlee, The Bros Landreth), Cody Iwasiuk (The Bros Landreth, Jess Moskaluke), Brennan Wall (Jess Moskaluke, David James, Nicole Rayy), Kenny Byrka (Sleddogs), Shawn Dealey (Doc Walker, Counting Crows, Avril Lavigne) and Rich Chycki (Rush, Aerosmith, Pink). It was recorded at both the Exchange District Studios and Private Ear Recordings in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Says Morden,

“Consistency, patience, focus, determination and lots of hard work have gotten me here. I can’t wait to see where “Spontaneous” will take me!”
