IN PHOTOS – Calgary Folk Festival – Day 1
This year’s Calgary Folk festival has commenced, the 4-day event features over 70 artists from every corner of the planet, playing across many stages.
July 26th marked day one of the music packed weekend, and Canadian Beats was there when UK-based artist Passenger, behind the huge hit single “Let Her Go”, took the main stage.
Also on the main stage was Canadian rockers Alvvays, the band has been selling out across Europe over the last three months, and even earned a spot on Rolling Stones Top 100 songs of the decade.
