IN PHOTOS – Highlights from Festival d’été de Québec July 12-14, 2018

Festival d’été de Québec wrapped up last night in Québec City after an 11 day run full of diverse acts and international artists. We headed to the festival during its second weekend to see all it had to offer. Here are some of the highlights of the weekend!

Toronto’s Birds of Bellwoods returned to Québec again this year, treating fans to some new music from their upcoming album. Over on the main stage, Phoenix took over with colourful visuals and bouncy tunes, and Beck closed the night with a stellar set.

The following day, we headed to the main stage to catch Milk & Bone, whose soothing electro pop had us swaying and singing along throughout their whole set. Cyndi Lauper hit the stage with her powerhouse vocals and classic hits like “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and “True Colours.” Lorde ended the night with a set full of lively hits and sincere moments.

On Saturday, SATE started the party by bringing the spirit of soul to the festival with her infectious energy and dynamical vocals. Busty and the Bass got everybody dancing with their jazzy tunes. Over on the main stage, Alexisonfire closed the night with an exhilarating set.
