Shane McNulty is an Independent Artist from the Ottawa Valley. His first musical influence was his father, who was an accomplished pedal steel player. He developed a love of Country and an admiration for the artists of that time. So, it is no wonder that when he began to write his own music, he drew from those who inspired him. Even in his live sets, he brings in tunes from Joe Diffie, David Lee Murphy, Tracy Lawrence and more.
Four singles from McNulty’s sophomore album, Drive, have proven to be radio worthy and have been picked up by stations from coast-to-coast – “Hold On Girl”, “Inside Out”, “Hearts Divide” and the current single, “Drivn Me Crazy”. The whole album is enjoyable to listen to and the upbeat songs are sure to have your toes a tapping.
I met up with McNulty in Mattawa, Ontario to find out more about him, talk about the album and more. Plus, he gave us an acoustic performance of “Drivn Me Crazy”.
Hope you enjoy our chat and his performance!
Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
