Review – Bravestation

Album: Goddess
Release Date: Available Now
Genre: New Wave

Powerhouse Toronto duo Bravestation have released their emotional debut full-length LP, Goddess. Said to be a story-based ode to romance, the power of unity, and the personal relationships Bravestation have with the women in their lives, Goddess is a radio-worthy 8-track romp mixed by Howie Beck (Feist, River Tiber) that thrives in its commercial sound and deeply personal lyricism.

Rooted in delightfully ‘80s synth-pop, Goddess covers a dynamic range of genre samples, such as the slow-burning R&B-tinged “Deeper Than Oceans” and electro-pop “Stay Wild”. Exuberant, romantic, and fantastically diverse, Goddess showcases only the best of Bravestation’s vocals and orchestral vision.

Just in time for summer, Goddess is a must-listen for anyone looking for their new favourite album.
