HUFF announces headliners for 2018 Halifax festival

The 9th annual Halifax Urban Folk Festival (HUFF) is taking place in Halifax, Nova Scotia from Sunday August 26th to Sunday September 2nd. HUFF strives to bring exceptional songwriting talent to Halifax. The headlining artists at The Carleton have just been announced. The following shows are also featuring The Halifax All Stars.

Headlining on Friday, August 31st is Crash Test Dummies frontman Brad Roberts. Opening for Roberts is Tim Baker, Lilly Hiatt and T. Thomason. Hey Rosetta!’s Tim Baker is preparing for his next solo album and is headlining on Saturday, September 1st. Opening for Baker is Lilly Hiatt, Brad Roberts and Mick Davis of The Novaks. Nashville artist Lilly Hiatt headlines on Sunday, September 2nd—Her latest album, Trinity Lane, was named one of the 40 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2017 by Rolling Stone. Opening for Hiatt is Brad Roberts, Tim Baker and Dustin Bentall.

HUFF is presented by Propeller Brewing Co. and has significant support from Newcap Radio. Tickets are available here as of the morning of Friday, June 22nd.
