With the amount of diverse acts coming to the Sasktel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, there is something for every musical taste! A few festival highlights on the TD Mainstage are Tom Cochran with Red Rider on Saturday, June 23rd, Matt Andersen & The Bona Fide on Sunday, June 24th and Kamasai Washington on Monday, June 25.

Looking for even more music, food, activities, and fun in the sun? Be sure to “swing” by (oh, jazz puns!) the Nutrien Free Stage for incredible programming all week. The schedule is jam-packed with amazing artists taking the stage from June 22nd – July 1st!

To become more centred, physically eased, and mindfully aware to fully appreciate all the wonderful music in the moment during the festival, be sure to head down to the popular Yoga in the Park on Saturday, June 23rd and Saturday, June 30th from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Nutrien Free Stage in Kiwanis Park North.
The free yoga class is for yogis of all experience levels. Please bring your own yoga mat, towel, and water to stay hydrated. Adrienne Vangool from One Yoga will be teaching the June 23rd class. Matthew Yausie from One Yoga will be teaching the June 30th class.

The Riz is a prolific multi-genre songwriter, lyricist, writer and bassist for “Demolition Rock” sensation Ultimate Power Duo. A staple of the Saskatoon music scene, he has toured extensively across Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. The Riz is also the composer and saxophone player for R. Muttering, an avant-garde soundscape improvisational electro-acoustic performance art and recording group. Besides his Bachelor of Music in Music Education (B. Mus. (Mus. Ed.) / B. Ed. (Mus.)) from the University of Saskatchewan, he has amazing comic and vinyl collections.
