Late last week, Nova Scotian hip-hop artist Classified released his new video for “She Ain’t Gotta Do Much.” The video was filmed in Toronto and was directed by Jacqueline Andrade. “She Ain’t Gotta Do Much” is from Classified’s upcoming EP Tomorrow Could Be… which will be available June 29th via Half Life Records and Universal Music Canada. The song celebrates female empowerment and how women have superpowers and is a “shoutout to all the women out there keeping things in line.” Fellow Nova Scotian Elijah Will is also featured on the hook of the song. The EP is available for pre-order on iTunes.
Classified has won multiple MuchMusic Video Awards, East Coast Music Awards and a Juno Award; and is one of Canada’s most respected and successful rap artists and producers. To celebrate the upcoming EP-release, Classified is throwing a fan club exclusive event in Toronto on June 28th, which sold out in less than 24 hours.

I’m Shayla, and I was born in Saskatoon but moved to Halifax in 2013 for University, and since decided to stay here for a while. I recently received a Bachelor of Design, after studying photography for a year or two as well. I love everything about music and how it has the ability to bring so many people together from across the country and even the world. My passion for music is one of the reasons I moved East to pursue a photography and design career, as I would love to do graphic design and photography within the Canadian music industry.
