George Street Festival announces headliners and more!

The George Street Association (GSA) is pleased to announce the headliners for the 2018 George Street Festival, July 26th – August 1st, 2018.

Headliners for the 2018 Festival include; Our Lady Peace, Arkells, Finger Eleven, I Mother Earth, Classified, Kardinal Offishall, Shanneyganock, and Trooper. Keeping with tradition, The GSA will host its annual “Kitchen Party” on Saturday, July 28th, which will feature; a historic reunion of Sons of Erin, Masterless Men, Derina Harvey Band, The Celtic Fiddlers, St. Pat’s Dancers and many more. There will also be an all ages show during that afternoon portion of the Kitchen Party. On Saturday morning of July 28th, Lululemon will host “yoga on George”, a popular event which attracted over 800 participants last year.

Advance tickets for the 2018 George Street Festival are on sale as of Friday, July 15th, at participating North Atlantic Orange Stores and www.georgestreelive.ca. Advance ticket prices range from $20 – $39.50. (See website for further details.) The after 11 pm Street Party which runs each night of the festival after 11 pm are only $15 (all inclusive).
