Victoria’s 19th annual Ska & Reggae Fest is hitting the island this June, and what better way to celebrate summer than trying out one of Victoria’s most anticipated music festivals? With a variety of different venues, price points, and genres, the Ska & Reggae Fests guarantees that there will be something for everyone.
With acts spread out across Ship Point—a gorgeous seaside stage that promises FREE all-ages acts—, Vinyl Envy, Lucky Bar, the Upstairs Cabaret, Vic Theatre, Capital Ballroom, and V-lounge, it’s impossible to go wrong. Additionally, the music lineup is stacked with both big names and local talent: the icons of modern ska, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, are headlining the Ship Point stage; Panteon Rococo— hailed as one of the ‘biggest ska bands to ever come out of Mexico’— are here to thrill with their fantastic stage presence and high-energy beats; talent from local bands Lovecoast, Fox Glove, Dope Soda, and more are coming together in a special tribute to No Doubt; legendary Brooklyn hip-hop collective Ready To Rock Crew ft. Que Rock; and returning festival-favourites Sweetleaf.
And that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Tickets, schedule, and general info are linked below—get in on it before it’s too late!
