Who: Freddie Future
Where: Adelaide Hall
When: May 12, 2018
Toronto-based Freddie Future performed as part of the 2018 Canadian Music Week at Adelaide Hall on Saturday night. This was a complete departure for Freddie Mojallal, from his former folk project, Autumn Portrait. Swapping his guitar for just a microphone he introduced a more upbeat vibe into his performance, which according to Freddie, is a more current musical direction to represent who he is today. Having just finished recording his debut album with producer Derek Hoffman (Ralph, The Elwins), it was the perfect time for him to showcase his new music. Stay tuned, his first single is to be released soon!

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
