May 11 was a big day for this Ontario-based country music artist Andrew Hyatt with the release of his latest single “Habit,” via 604 Records. Newly signed to the Vancouver-based indie label, Hyatt also celebrates and reveals that he is co-managed by 604 label head Jonathan Simkin, multi-Platinum selling 604 Records recording artist Dallas Smith and producer Scott Cooke.
“Habit” is spunky and delightful; it that reminds you of the first flush of love. It grabs you right from the start and it’s an easy-to-love tune.
Along with signing with 604 Records and releasing “Habit,” Hyatt has also garnered three 2018 CMAO Awards nominations including Male Artist of the Year, Rising Star and Album of the Year for his 2017 debut full-length album Iron and Ashes. Hyatt is working on more new material and getting ready for the upcoming summer festival season.
This single is one that you “can’t break, can’t shake, gotta have it.”

Hi all. I’m Nanci Dagg. I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and have lived my entire life here. There is nothing I like better than supporting local artists followed by supporting Canadian artists. Although I was a classic rock gal, my go to genre is country. Something about this music that just makes me feel great. I can be found at most country music concerts and shows (from someone’s house to really large venues) taking lots of pictures. Music and photography are two of my passions. Add to this mix, writing about artists, well let’s say, life doesn’t get better than this.
