An awesome evening for pop rock fans here in Calgary as Toronto bands Little Junior and Born Ruffians tore up the stage at the Gateway here in Calgary.

Power pop rockers Little Junior opened the night off with a great set. Their guitar driven music with a punk rock edge had the crowd rocking and looking forward to picking up their new album ‘Hi” when it is released later this month.

Headliners Born Ruffians hit the stage to an enthusiastic crowd and did not disappoint. Drawing from five albums worth of material including their latest release ‘Uncle, Duke and The Chief’, the indie rockers filled the room with energetic yet melodic tunes that the fans loved. Born Ruffians are currently in the midst of a huge North American tour that runs until May 19th followed by a trek to Europe.
