What: No Time for That Benefit Concert
When: April 27, 2018
Where: Wolfville Nova Scotia
Last night was a great night for raising awareness of the Anti-Bullying Movement and for Mental Health Awareness. As we all know, both go hand in hand!
Elsie Morden and the No Time For That Anti-Bullying Society hosted the second annual benefit concert at the Wolfville Farmer’s Market. The goal is to raise enough money to get all the required equipment and hire a road crew that will help continue to take the No Time For That Anti-Bullying Society across Canada.
MC – Nebraska Penny
Kathy Lynn Byrka
Mike Brannon – Metal Health Foundation
Shelley Richardson – Kids Help Phone
Mike Danton – Mental Health Advocate and Speaker
The Performances for the night were by Elsie Morden (accompanied by Kenny Byrka) and Old Man Luedecke.
The Anti-Bully Society has really hit close to home this year. Being able to participate in such a great event that reaches out to children and parents to let them know they are not alone, and there is help, means the world to me.
