Who: Cradle of Filth
When: April 11, 2018
Where: The Opera House, Toronto ON
Cradle of Filth brought their heavy sound and shock value to the Opera House on April 11 and it was possibly one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Before then I had only wanted to go to one of their concerts, and this one completely blew me away. The stage setup was stunning with gothic inspired backdrops and superb lighting, they set the atmosphere for what was to come. The blew the Opera House up with frontman Dani Filth’s amazing showmanship and vocals, he’s still killing it after so many years. With two fantastic openers Uncured and Jinjer who set the tone for a heavy night, it was one of those shows where I can’t really describe, you just had to be there. Whether you’re into goth/black/heavy metal, I would recommend checking this band out at least once, they’re definitely worth the watch.

Hello! Is it me you’re looking for?…well, great! I’m Gabby! A Toronto based photographer and a lover of all things music! I listen to a vast amount of different genres of music ranging from metal to R&B. When I’m not hustling around in different crowds I work full time for a wedding photography studio in the west end, and in my down time I like to nerd out with video games, a good documentary on Netflix, or stepping into my favourite record shop. My passion for music and photography are unlike any other! I’m always look forward to the next opportunity to shoot a lifelong favourite band or checking out a new artist, whichever it may be, I’ll see you in the pit!
