On Friday April 6, 2018, Royal Wood released his seventh album Ever After The Farewell. We were fortunate enough to be able to talk to him that day about the album and his up-coming tour, featuring The Good Lovelies and Fionn.
Having released three singles, to date, to promote this album – “California Nights”, “Something About You” and “King & Queen” – plus a creative pre-sale campaign, Ever After The Farewell debuted on the iTunes charts at #6.
The album was created during two pivotal points in his life – dealing with the death of his father and finding the love of his life. This album will take you on a musical journey of happy times and sad ones, with poetic lyrics and incredible vocals.
If you like what you hear, please check out his tour dates and catch a show near you.
Here’s a nice acoustic performance Royal Wood did for us of “Something About You”.
Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
