Toronto-based band Birds of Bellwoods are continuing to make their mark in Canada and the US, leaving a trail of achievements and accolades in the few short years they’ve been together. On April 6, 2018, they re-released their single “Let You Go“. This is the first track from their highly anticipated debut LP Victoria, which is due to drop later this year.
The band’s unique energy and engaging live shows are what they are known for. They’ve already crossed Canada and dived into the US music scene, including high profile performances at a few music festivals. These include, but aren’t limited to CMW, NXNE, and even Boots and Hearts. They’ve also performed with the likes of Arkells, Wintersleep, and Virginia to Vegas and Scott Helman.
While Birds of Bellwoods anxiously awaits the release of their album Victoria, they are busy building their fan base and touring Ontario and Quebec over the next few months with shows and festivals in the line-up in the foreseeable future.

My name is Taryn and I am a writer and music enthusiast from Mississauga, Ontario. I am a graduate of Journalism/Media studies from the University of Guelph-Humber, and while I’m currently pursuing other career options, writing is still one of my greatest passions. And combining that passion with my deep love of music was an obviously easy choice. I’ve been writing with Canadian Beats for awhile now and I’ve loved every moment. When I’m not working or writing for CB, you can usually find me in the kitchen baking, writing, at a concert or travelling to new (and old) places with my favourite people!
