It’s official, the fourth annual Camp Wavelength Music & Arts Festival will take place on August 18-19 at a new location in downtown Toronto: Garrison Common at Fort York National Historic Site.
Camp Wavelength is a day camp only, so mark both days on your calendar, but plan to sleep in your own bed.
Camp Wavelength is an urban weekend getaway like no other. For two magical days, Wavelength will summon the spirit of summer camp and take festival-goers on a journey of discovery and escape. For 2018’s festival, Camp Wavelength will move to a new, central, outdoor location – Fort York National Historic Site’s tree-lined green space, Garrison Common. Easily accessible by transit, bicycle or on foot, Camp Wavelength 2018 will be a hidden oasis of creativity and community within the city.
Submissions are now open for non-musical artists to animate this year’s festival. Visual & media artists, dance & performance artists, and creators of interactive games & activities are free to submit proposals until Monday, April 30.
Stay tuned for more announcements.
