Those cowboy boots have been lying dusty in the corner for too long! With spring around the corner we can’t help but get a smile on our faces when we think about the upcoming 2018 festival season. Today we got a little taste of what is to come when Boots and Hearts Music Festival announced their full 2018 line-up.
Republic Live, producers of the four-day festival held annually at Burl’s Creek in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, announced the addition of several acts including Midland, LOCASH, James Barker Band, The Washboard Union, Lindsay Ell, Russell Dickerson, Meghan Patrick, River Town Saints, Walker Hayes, Jade Eagleson and The Redhill Valleys alongside the previously announced Florida Georgia Line, Alan Jackson, Thomas Rhett, Billy Currington, Dallas Smith and Brett Young.
Boots and Hearts draws a crowd of nearly 40 000 concert goers each year and offers so much more than just music to it’s attendees. Burl’s Creek is converted into a village-away-from-home complete with camping accommodations, shopping, food and entertainment. This year the festival takes place August 9th – 12th. I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
