Emerging Country Music Artist Showcase Partnership with CMA Ontario & New Country Spirit

New Country Spirit has announced the launch of the Emerging Country Music Artist Showcase in partnership with the Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAOntario), providing a performance opportunity exclusively for emerging country music artists in Ontario. This partnership initiative will give artists a chance to perform on the main stage at Mississauga Waterfront Festival -Credit Goes Country – a festival that attracts over 70,000 people to the Port Credit area over the 3-day event, $300 in New Country Spirit merchandise, a $200 honorarium donated by CMAOntario, a professional photo shoot with Brandon Ferguson Photography valued at $500, a $100 Gift Card donated by Rock N Horse Saloon in Toronto and complimentary CMAOntario Conference & Awards show package for 2019.

Like everyone involved in this Showcase, we are excited to give emerging country music artists in Ontario a chance to be seen and heard. We can hardly wait to receive video submissions and applications.”

We invite Ontario country music solo artists and groups to send in their video submission and application starting at 9:00 am on February 19 at info@newcountryspirit.com until 11:59:59 am on March 6, 2018. Go to https://www.newcountryspirit.com/emerging-artist-contest for official rules and application. Once the submission window closes, applicants’ videos will be posted on New Country Spirit’s Facebook page and fans will be able to ‘vote by views’. Once voting is complete, the Top 10 videos with the most views will then be reviewed by music industry professionals and the Top 3 winners will be announced.

New Country Spirit’s Emerging Country Music Artist Showcase, in partnership with CMAOntario, gives Ontario artists the opportunity to be seen and heard both on-line and ‘live’ on stage at the Mississauga Waterfront Festival. Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds.
