Ontario’s Forty Seven Teeth is made up of Anna Roberts (Guitar/ Vocals), Dee Prescott (Guitar/ Vocals), Jesse Aylesworth (Drums) and Matt Woo (Bass). The band has released their new single, “As A Spy” which is from their upcoming EP, Emotional Support. The EP is set for release on November 24, so be sure to check that out.
The video for “As A Spy” stars Toronto’s own Alicia Bernard, Ann Slinger, Ashlea Wessel, Caitlin Watson, Sienna Traboulay, Stella Grob and Stephanie Batiste from Toronto skateboard crew Babe Brigade and roller skate crew Bad Union.
When asked about the single, Anna Robertson states,
“As A Spy, from the upcoming EP ‘Emotional Support’ is your last breath of fresh summer air. It’s looking back at how far you’ve come over the past year, at all the transitions you and those around you have endured, and knowing you’re stronger for it. It’s about owning that strength, the way the kickass women from Babes Brigade and Bad Union skate crews embody their own power. As A Spy compels you to “do you” no matter what that means for anyone else.”
