It is hard to believe that summer festival season has come to a close! The staff at Canadian Beats live for attending summer music festivals and taking in all they have to offer, both on and off the stage. The summer of 2017 in Ontario may have been rainier and cooler than in recent years, but the weather all but made up for it this September! With record high temperatures, fans flocked to Victoria Park in London for Feast Fest, one of the many wonderful festivals organized by Admiral Live this summer.
This food, drink and music festival made three stops in the province, reaching Sudbury and Midland in July and August, making its final stop in London over the weekend. Each festival experienced a country music-themed Friday night, with artists like Jojo Mason and Bobby Wills as headliners; a rock-themed Saturday night with Honeymoon Suite as the headliner and Caesar Sundays featuring local music and $5 Caesars! You can catch up on both the Friday and Saturday shows at Midland’s Feast Fest.
When you spend as much time as we do hanging out at stages around the country you get to know the wonderful staff and volunteers that make these events possible We were impressed with the professionalism of the production staff at Feast Fest. Junior, ‘The Wizard’ and their crew ran seamless and on-time events at all of the Feast Fests that we attended.
We wish we could have squeezed every last moment out of summer at London Feast Fest! There were so many great local acts and emerging artists performing all weekend long! But we did catch the majority of the acts on the Saturday night, including (in order of appearance) Fortunate Losers, Ayden Jacobs Band, From The Ruins, Bodhi Jar, Crown Mother, and Honeymoon Suite. Check out some of the highlights from their sets, below.

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
