It’s next to impossible for an 11-day festival to please everybody but the Iceberg Alley Performance Tent seems to be doing a pretty good job. As of writing this, they are on day 11 and I have yet to hear or read a single complaint about it and after being in the tent twice myself, I can definitely agree that this is one that I hope sticks around for the long run.
Friday night was a country night with an opening set from Kelly Prescott followed by The Road Hammers and headlined by Dean Brody. Country music always does well in Newfoundland and this night was no different, I walked into a tent full of cowboy hats and plaid shirts and everybody was loving the music.

I’m Tara and I’m a graphic designer from Newfoundland. I am very fortunate to live in a city where there is a ton of amazing musicians. I’ve grown very fond of the local music scene in St. John’s and some of my favorite bands are ones I’ve met through going to local shows.
