It was a beautiful sunny but very windy Sunday afternoon at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on September 10, 2017, and John Deere Green Carpet was the place to be. Nominated artists, performers, presenters and special guests walked the carpet and interacted with fans and media along the way.
Because we have so many photos on the Green Carpet with all the fan favourites, we decided to highlight some special moments to share with you. Want to see more? Have no fear; photos from the CCMA festivities that we caught can be found on our Facebook page!
Meghan Patrick – The wind enhanced the beautiful dress that Meghan wore. She owned that Green Carpet!
Brett Kissel – His family means the world to him and for Brett to share his girls with us; well, it just doesn’t get any better than that!
Tim Hicks – He is just a great sport and loves to have fun.
The Road Hammers – Clayton, Jason and Chris love to show off their “tough” side.
Aaron Pritchett – He is always in the mood for a practical joke and this is one of his favorites to pull.
Cold Creek County – These guys are so thrilled to be on the Green Carpet that they are kicking up their heels and jumping for joy.
Madeline Merlo – The super strong wind made highlighted the sheer beauty of Madeline and her dress.
Dean Brody – This guy is showing off his “sexiness.”
JoJo Mason – What a great way to share a special moment with someone you love! JoJo wanted us all to know how much he loves his wife.
The Washboard Union – Chris’s wife made a special washboard for this occasion. How cool is that!
Hi all. I’m Nanci Dagg. I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and have lived my entire life here. There is nothing I like better than supporting local artists followed by supporting Canadian artists. Although I was a classic rock gal, my go to genre is country. Something about this music that just makes me feel great. I can be found at most country music concerts and shows (from someone’s house to really large venues) taking lots of pictures. Music and photography are two of my passions. Add to this mix, writing about artists, well let’s say, life doesn’t get better than this.
