As Whitney Rose announces her Rule 62 North American Tour, she also shares a life lesson that was learned the hard way with another new track from her soon to be released full-length album Rule 62. The new track, “Better To My Baby”, is a sombre take on moving onwards, with a little hindsight and a dose of good advice all tied up in one.
Where does the title Rule 62 (Or “Don’t Take Yourself So Damn Seriously”) come from? It is Whitney Rose’s guiding philosophy on life in the form of an album. Other tastes you can find on the album can be described as “blistering country kiss-off” to “rump shaking jams”. There’s a little bit of everything and it’s suited perfectly for Whitney and her new music.
Her North American Tour will start in Texas and end in Nashville, Tennessee. See below for a full list of all her tour dates to see if she’s coming to a city near you.

My name is Taryn and I am a writer and music enthusiast from Mississauga, Ontario. I am a graduate of Journalism/Media studies from the University of Guelph-Humber, and while I’m currently pursuing other career options, writing is still one of my greatest passions. And combining that passion with my deep love of music was an obviously easy choice. I’ve been writing with Canadian Beats for awhile now and I’ve loved every moment. When I’m not working or writing for CB, you can usually find me in the kitchen baking, writing, at a concert or travelling to new (and old) places with my favourite people!
