It was a 90’s alternative rock reunion at the Canadian National Exhibition on Friday when two legends, I Mother Earth and The Watchmen, came together to put on an unforgettable rock show for fans.
These Canadian rockers have been making their way back to the stage and into the hearts of fans once again as they took on quite a few shows in the summer festival season. Spectator reaction was unanimous: they have never looked or sounded better and we can’t wait to see what they get up to next!
I Mother Earth
After finishing up their recent tour with Our Lady Peace, the lads of I Mother Earth have also taken the time this summer to get out and enjoy summer festival season on the stage, with shows at Rockin’ The Fields of Minnedosa and in Fredricton on Canada Day as some of the highlights. Their show at the CNE was the perfect way to wrap up a busy festival season. There is nothing more Canadian than to listen to the sweaty rock tunes of a Canadian icon at the Ex to close out the summer!

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
