Sc Mira are continuing to shake up the Canadian music scene with their dark and brooding music. Their latest single, “Mexico”, which the band describes even darker music than their previously released tunes, has a brand new animated video for fans to enjoy! Life on the road performing shows is what this Winnipeg-based band credits the transformation of their music to. Having recently seen their live show at a stop in Toronto at The Baby G, we can’t advocate enough how amazing they are to witness in person! Check out our recent photos of their Toronto show and audio interview with the band.
“Mexico” is the first single to be released from their upcoming EP, Keep Crawling, which is set to be released on September 22nd. It has caught the attention of their new agent, Ralph James of APA Canada and has landed them radio play on CBC Radio 1 and CBC Radio 3. The future looks ironically bright for this ‘dark’ band. Come see what the buzz is about and get your very own copy of “Mexico”, here.

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
