Last years Rock The Block winners Beauwater started off the night before Halifax’s Walrus got everyone pumped for local favourites, Hey Rosetta! Whenever I’m in my car on a sunny day with the windows down, I’m almost always listening to Hey Rosetta! so I’m glad that I usually get to see them at least once during the summer.

I’m Tara and I’m a graphic designer from Newfoundland. I am very fortunate to live in a city where there is a ton of amazing musicians. I’ve grown very fond of the local music scene in St. John’s and some of my favorite bands are ones I’ve met through going to local shows.
