With the intention of promoting the musical talent of the Inuit, First Nations, and Métis communities across Canada, Stingray Music has partnered with Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN), Native Communications Inc. (NCI-FM Manitoba) and First Peoples Radio (FPR). Beginning this week, the Stingray Music mobile app will feature two channels featuring artists from Canada’s Aboriginal communities. These channels channels, “Aboriginal Music from Canada – Contemporary” and “Aboriginal Music from Canada – Retro” can be streamed worldwide.
You can listen to the contemporary channel here and the retro channel here.

Hello, I’m Chloe from Montreal! I am a 26 year old McGill and Concordia graduate in physiology and psychology. While my career path has fallen more into the education field, music, reading, and writing remain three of my strongest passions. Despite this, I have been told more than once that I have the worst singing voice in the entire world. Because the life of a musician has not worked out for me, I instead attend concerts and write about them. Many of them. I have been known to overuse the word “favorite,” especially when talking about music.
