Well ten days of cowboys, music, deep fried everything, and scream worthy rides, has come to an end. This year’s Calgary Stampede saw triple the music of previous years, and who better to close out the party than July Talk, and the opener for the night, Edmonton based Faith Healer!
The Canadian alternative rock band hailing from Toronto is well known for their incredibly high energy shows and playful stage presence. They have also toured with the best of the best, and gain most of their following while on the road. The Coca-Cola stage was alive with music and energy. The crowd fed off of it, jumping and singing along, sometimes almost over powering the stage vocals. It was an explosive party bringing Calgary Stampede 2017 to an end.

I’m Heather Young. I am 29 years old and from Calgary. I’m the mother of a 6 year old boy and I work with children as a developmental assistant. I have always had a passion for writing and music so working for Canadian Beats is right up my alley. I love every genre of music as long as it catches my attention, it’s on my playlist, from rap to country. When I’m not working or writing I love to spend time outside with my son playing games or going for walks.
