Another beautiful day in Québec City called for even more amazing shows at Festival d’été. We spent the day strolling around the city before stumbling upon indie pop starlets Groenland’s short and sweet pop up set before catching their main performance in the evening. After dancing along to their sunny beats, we caught thrash metal group Voivod tearing it up on the main stage. The Strumbellas brought their inspiring, high-energy tunes to the Loto-Québec stage, igniting sing-alongs and dance parties along the way. The one and only Metallica hit the main stage for an unbelievable performance complete with fireworks to end the night. Check out our photos from the exciting evening!

I’ve been involved in music my whole life and have developed a passion for helping out or working in the industry any way I can. I’m interested in helping talented artists gain the recognition they deserve in this crazy business. I am currently studying Communication Studies at York University in Toronto, and working at a local theatre doing marketing and communications, as well as helping out a local festival called Rock the Coliseum. Indie, alt-rock/pop, and metal are my favourites but I’m open to all music genres! If I’m not at a show, I’m doing yoga, grabbing coffee, or looking for some craft beer.
